A cross between Max Red Bartlett and Comice, it is a great home orchard variety for hot inland climates. Oval yellowish green fruit has a beautiful red blush. Fruit is delicious and of excellent quality, ripening in early-mid August. Very productive and self fertile trees are hardy zones 5-9.
